Unscrewing Ground Strap From Body

Move front left seat back and up as far as possible.
Disengage front trim panel at the rear -Arrow A- , then unclip it by pulling it forward -Arrow B- .

Unclip the right carpet cover.

Fold carpeted floor forward -Arrow A- , unscrew fastening nut -1- from battery ground strap on the body and remove ground strap from the stud -Arrow B- .

Route or isolate ground strap so that all contact with a ground carrier (e.g. body, seat frame) is avoided.
