Checking Oil For Rear Final Drive

→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

Information 

• Vehicle must be horizontal in order to check fluid level in rear final drive. 

1. Unscrew oil inspection plug -A-  .

2. The oil level is correct if the oil reaches the lower edge of the inspection window.

   Information 

   Use only oil approved by Porsche.

3. If this is not the case, top up the oil. → Filling Oil For Transfer Gear 
4. Screw in oil inspection plug -A-  with a new sealing ring. → Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ft lbs.)
