Installing Servo Motor On Transfer Gear

CAUTION: Servo motor not fitted correctly
  • Risk of damage to servo motor electronics
  • Servo motor is sluggish

→ Fit servo motor by hand.

→ Do not use impact tools or strikers, e.g. a hammer.

Information 

  1. Connect the servo motor to the shaft on the transfer gear. Position the cut-out on the shaft -right inset-  in line with the servo motor -left inset-  .

  2. Screw in servo motor screws -arrows-  on the transfer gear. → Tightening torque: 27 Nm (20 ft lbs.) 
  3. Screw in screws for servo motor support -arrows-  on the transfer gear. → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft lbs.)

  4. Connect centre-differential lock cable plug -2-  , Low Range -1-  and secure cable holder.

  5. Fit heat protection to the cable plugs on the servo motor.
