Visual Inspection Of Centre Bearing

Information 

• The convoluted air bellows on the cardan shafts may be damaged by external influences, e.g. during off-road driving or similar use. 
• Result: loss of a large amount of grease, dirt can get into the universal joint. 
• Premature replacement of the cardan shaft may be necessary. 

1. Check the convoluted air bellows on the centre bearing for damage. To do this, gradually turn the cardan shaft by 180°.
