Preparing Connection Areas Of The Body For Installing The Rear Wheel Housing

  1. Prepare connection areas on inner door sills, inner wheel housing and on the D-pillar and C-pillar reinforcements for installation.
    1. 1.1. Clean undersealing, adhesive residue and paint from the marked areas of the body connecting flanges using a hot-air gun and rotary brush. Grind the connecting flanges until bare.

  2. Coat spot-weld flange areas with zinc powder paint.
    1. 2.1. Coat all spot-weld flange areas with zinc powder paint.
