Preparing Rear Wheel Housing For Installation

1. Prepare rear wheel housing for installation in contact area of door sill and C-pillar reinforcement.
   1. 1.1. Grind both sides of the connecting flanges of the new part in the marked areas -A, B-  until bare using a rotary brush.

2. Prepare rear wheel housing in contact area of inner wheel housing and D-pillar reinforcement for installation.
   1. 2.1. Grind both sides of the connecting flanges of the new part in the marked areas -C, D, E, F-  until bare using a rotary brush.
   2. 2.2. Drill holes (Ø = 7 mm) in the fastening flanges of the D-pillar reinforcement (area -F-  ). Maintain spacing as on the old part.

3. Coat spot-weld flange areas with zinc powder paint.
   1. 3.1. Coat all spot-weld flange areas with zinc powder paint.
