Installing Rear Seat

CAUTION: Safety bolts on rear seats.
  • Risk of damage to rear seat threaded joints.

→ Always replace fastening screws for rear seats.

→ Before screwing in the new fastening screws, clean the thread holes with an M 10 tap.

Information 

To insert the rear seats, fold over the hinge parts on the rear seat.

  1. Guide rear seats sideways into the vehicle and position them.
  2. Fold rear seats -1, 2-  up and align them.

  3. Secure rear seats -1, 2-  with the fastening screws -3-  (-arrows-  ). → Tightening torque: 44 Nm (33 ft lbs.)+/-4 Nm (+/-3 ft lbs.)

  4. Clip in connector for heated seats -1-  (-arrow A-  ).

  5. Connect connector -1-  (-arrow B-  ) until the locking lugs lock with an audible click.
  6. Fold rear seats -1, 2-  down and lock them -arrows-  .
