Removing A-pillar Moulding

Information 

The retaining clips will be damaged irreparably when you remove the A-pillar moulding and must be replaced.

  1. Starting at the front, insert a plastic wedge between the A-pillar moulding -1-  and the body -arrow A-  and carefully unclip it from the retaining clips -2-  (-arrow B-  ).

  2. Pull A-pillar moulding -1-  at the rear out of the side window trim frame -2-  (-arrow-  ).

    Information 

    Do not remove retaining clip by pressing in the expanding pin.

  3. Remove retaining clips.

    1. 3.1. Insert a screwdriver into the retaining clip -1-  and press out the expanding pin -2-  (-arrow A-  ). Pull it out completely using pointed-nose pliers if necessary.
    2. 3.2. Pull retaining clip -1-  from the body -arrow B-  .
