Open front door.
Detach roof molding -1- in the area around the A-pillar -arrows- .

Unscrew fastening screw -1- on the A-pillar -arrow- .

Information
- Due to the contour of the wing, the fastening clip must be deformed in order to remove the wing. If a wing is to be reused following removal, the paint in the area of the fastening clip must be heated up using a hot-air blower.
Bend up fastening clip by approx. 70° in -direction of arrow- .

Unscrew fastening screws -1- and -2- (-arrows- ).

Unscrew fastening nuts -1- on the A-pillar -arrow- .

Remove the wing -2- .
Remove old sealant.
