Removing the starter

Disconnect the battery before removing the component or control unit.

1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1 and 2- on the starter and remove lines -3 and 4- (-arrow-).

2. Unscrew the two fastening screws -1-.

3. Remove the starter.
   1. Pull starter -1- towards the front in direction of travel -arrow A- and lift it up -arrow B-.
   2. Remove line -2- (-arrow C-).
   3. Lift the starter -1- up and remove it -arrow D-.
