Removing Clamping Device

  1. Open the rear lid.
  2. Detach the red tensioning lever -1-  on the right-hand side of the vehicle. To do this, press the release handle on the underside of the tensioning lever.
  3. Disengage the retaining eyelet of the tension rope -2-  from the fastening hook on the tensioning lever.

    Information 

    • Make sure not to trap or squash your fingers under the tensioning lever.

  4. Press the tensioning lever down until it locks with an audible click.
  5. Unscrew fastening screws -1, 2-  and remove clamping device -3- (-arrow-)  .
  6. Check sealing rings -4-  on the back of the clamping device -3-  and replace them if necessary.
