Removing A-Pillar Trim

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  from the convertible-top peg housing -2-  .

2. Pull A-pillar trim -1-  inwards along the windscreen frame -2-  in -direction of arrow-  .

3. Remove A-pillar trim -1-  upwards in -direction of arrow-  .

Information 

• To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool. 

1. Unclip C-pillar trim panel -1-  in area of A-pillar trim panel -2-  using a plastic wedge -3-  .

2. Pull A-pillar trim panel -1-  inwards along the roof frame and windscreen frame.

3. Remove A-pillar trim panel -1-  upwards.

4. Check clamps -1, 2-  , and replace if necessary.
