Installing Headliner

Information 

Two persons are needed to remove and install the headliner!

1. Guide headliner -1-  into the vehicle through tailgate opening and position at roof frame.

2. Clip in fixing clip -2-  in the bodyshell in the rear area and press in Velcro fasteners -3-  .

   Information 

   Pull wire harness for interior light and operator control unit for garage door opener through the openings of the headliner.

3. Clip clamps -1-  in the bodyshell in the front area.
4. Press in pivot bearing -6-  until it clicks into place -arrow A-  and tighten with fastening screw -5-  . Tightening torque → Tightening torque: 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)+0.5 Nm (+0.5 ftlb.)

5. Press in cover for pivot bearing -4- -arrow B-  .
6. Position mounting saddle -3-  at the top on the roof liner -arrow C-  and secure using the fastening screw -2-  . Tightening torque → Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (2 ftlb.)+0.5 Nm (+0.5 ftlb.) 
7. Press in cap -1-  on mounting saddle -arrow D-  .
