Installing Rear Wire Harness

Install rear wire harness.
1. 1.1. Lay out rear wiring harness.
2. 1.2. Insert rear wire harness in the four holders -14- at the end plate.
3. 1.3. Clip rear wire harness at the left and right at both retaining clips -13- into the rear vent.
4. 1.4. Fit rubber sleeve -12- .

Pushing on connector on sender for coolant-level indicator -10- .
1. 2.1. Push on connector on sender for coolant-level indicator -arrow- until it is felt to engage.
2. 2.2. Clip in rear wire harness at both holders -11- .

Push the plug connection for the rear lid lock together until it is felt to engage. → Installing Lower Part Of Lid Lock At Rear
Press plug connection for spoiler drive engine together until it is felt to engage. → 667219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SPOILER DRIVE
Secure ground point -5- .
1. 5.1. Connect ground straps and screw down fastening nut. → Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)

Push on connector for rear light at the left and right until it is felt to engage. → WM 943119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TAIL LIGHT (ALL MODELS)
Push together plug connections for rear wire harness to main wire harness -2 and 3- .
1. 7.1. Push connector sockets for rear wire harness onto relay carrier -arrows A- until they are felt to engage.
2. 7.2. Push together plug connections for rear wire harness to main wire harness -arrows B- and lock until they are felt to engage.

Push together plug connection for rear wire harness to engine wire harness -1- .
1. 8.1. Push connector socket for rear wire harness onto relay carrier -arrow A- until it is felt to engage.
2. 8.2. Push together plug connection for rear wire harness to engine wire harness -arrow B- until it is felt to engage.
