Installing Front Control Unit

NOTE: Voltage peaks
  • Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

  1. Insert the front control unit into the body and secure with the fastening nut -2-  . → M6: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

  2. Plug in electric connector and lock it so that it engages securely.
  3. Clip in left and right electric lines to the control unit.

  5. Position the cover -1-  and push it in until it snaps into place in the four clips.
  6. Secure the cover with the fastening screw -3-  .
  7. If a new control unit was installed, it must be coded to suit the vehicle. → Coding (Programming) Control Unit
