Preliminary work

1. If the wheel bearing needs to be replaced, loosen axle nut (vehicle on ground) whilst operating the brake (2 fitters required).

2. Raise the vehicle, Refer to 40 LIFTING THE VEHICLE - AS OF MY 2005 (ALL MODELS)

3. Remove rear wheel, Refer to 44 05 19 Removing and installing wheel - as of MY 2005 (All Models) .
