Belt tensioner

Remove the side panel lining at rear. Refer to 70 75 19 Removing and installing side trim panel - as of MY 2006 (Cayman S, Cayman S RHD) . Refer to 70 75 19 Removing and installing side trim panel - as of MY 2005 (Boxster, Boxster RHD, Boxster S, Boxster S RHD) .

1. Connect plug of adapter cable 9257/3 to the belt tensioner.

2. Connect ignition device No. 9257 to the 2-pin plug of adapter cable No. 9257/3.

3. Place the ignition device in front of the vehicle through the door gap and trigger it.
