Removing support plate

1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points Refer to 40 Tightening torques for front axle - as of MY 2005 (All Models) .

2. Remove rear underbody panel.

3. Remove right and left diagonal braces -B-  and the support plate -A-  ( → 421419 Removing and installing support plate - section on "Information" ). Pull out the support plate -A-  without undue force. See Fig 1.
