Seat Integrated Thorax Airbag

The revised Porsche Side Impact Protection System (POSIP) incorporates several airbags. In addition to the head airbag integrated in the door trim panel, there is an additional thorax airbag integrated in the outer side piece of the front seats. The thorax airbag has a volume of approx. 8 liters.
