Removing Front Control Unit

If a new control unit has to be installed, read out data from the "old" control unit if possible using the PIWIS Tester 9718. → Coding (Programming) Control Unit
NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
- Unscrew fastening screws -3- .
- Push a screwdriver into the openings -A- and unclip the four clips holding the cover -1- .
- Release and unplug both electric connectors -A- and disengage the left and right electric lines on the control unit.
- Unscrew the fastening nut -2- , lift up the control unit and disengage it.
