Subsequent Work After Installing Spring Strut

  1. Install rear wall cover → INSTALLING REAR WALL COVER .

  2. Fit rear wheel → INSTALLING WHEEL .
  3. On the Boxster  , move convertible top out of service position → 6101IN CONVERTIBLE-TOP SERVICE POSITION .

    On the Cayman:  Install trim panel for spring strut mount → INSTALLING TRIM PANEL FOR SPRING STRUT MOUNT . This includes installing the following: trim panel for rear → INSTALLING REAR COVER and C-pillar → 706819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING C-PILLAR TRIM .

  4. If new parts are installed that affect vehicle height, suspension alignment must always be carried out → 449503 SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT, COMPLETE .
