Control module function: Events

NOTE: The occurrence of particular system errors is stored in the event memory. Furthermore, it is possible to read out the time of the occurrence using the "F8" key. The time is shown in minutes. The events stored in the event memory concern components of the instrument cluster and also components of other control modules like PSM or DME. The following system errors are stored in the event memory.

NOTE: During diagnosis, the ABS failure and PSM failure events are entered into the event memory via communication with the Porsche System Tester II 9588 and the respective warning lights are activated during the automatic control module search. In this case, no fault is present and the event memory is to be erased after completion of the diagnosis.
