Possible cause of fault

Sensor for oil level indicator faulty
Short circuit to voltage/ground or open circuit in the wiring between the sensor for oil level indicator and instrument cluster

NOTE:

The fault code 9123 is entered after the oil level measurement is triggered in the event of a fault. The warning oil level indication failure is emitted at the same time in the display of the instrument cluster.
After the cause of the fault has been remedied, the oil level measurement must be re-triggered. After the oil level measurement has been completed, the fault changes from present to not present
