Control unit function: General
The automatic lowering of the passenger-side rearview mirror aids the driver during parking manoeuvres. After a time delay which can be set, the rearview mirror is lowered by the set value as soon as reverse gear is engaged. If reverse gear is disengaged or the rearview mirror switch touched with reverse gear still engaged, the rearview mirror returns to its stored position.
The following settings can be selected in the menu and coded using the Porsche System Tester II 9588:
- Parking aid (activated or deactivated)
- Parking aid on rearview mirror (right or left)
- Lowering
- Delay
NOTE:
The parking aid can be activated or deactivated for the individual position buttons ("1", "2" or "3") or for individual hand-held transmitters.
