Preliminary work

1. Release axle nut (vehicle on ground) while operating the brake (2 fitters required).

2. Remove wheel. Refer to 44 05 19 Removing and installing wheel - as of MY 2003 (All Models) .

3. Remove rear muffler. Refer to 26 01 19 Removing and installing exhaust system - as of MY 2003 (All Models) .
