Brightness sensor

• Engine off
• Shine the pocket lamp on the sensor

PST2 display:

Tester display increases to a value of approx. 97% - 100%

Displays darken (dimming takes place slowly).

• Brightening of the sensor

PST2 display:

Tester display drops to a value of 0 - 5%

Displays brighten (dimming takes place slowly).

If there is no change in the dimming, the instrument cluster is faulty.
