DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING FOR FAULT CODE 5 - STEPS 1 TO 6

The voltage characteristic has a continuous path (similar to that illustrated in the figure below) and changes over the exact period of time in which the convertible top is moving in the rear area Step 7 |
The voltage characteristic no longer changes even though the convertible top is still moving in the rear area Carry out test as described in error code 1 |
NOTE:
- Fig 1 illustrates the voltage characteristics upon opening the convertible top!
- The voltage characteristics upon closing the convertible top result in a mirror image!
