Installing bypass flap control box on the turbocharger

  1. Push the push rod of the control box into the bypass flap release.
  2. Secure the control box by screwing in and tightening the two holder screws.

    Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 

  3. Screw the nut on the push rod.

  4. Adjust the control box. Refer to CHECKING AND ADJUSTING THE BYPASS FLAP CONTROL BOXES ON THE TURBOCHARGER  .
  5. Push the vacuum hose on to the control box.

  6. Fit the safety bracket again, and check for correct seating.
