DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING CHART - FAULT CODE 9114

Work instruction			Display OK	If not OK
1	Read out PCM2 fault memory	Read out PCM2 fault memory and remedy any stored faults	The fault is remedied -> End	Step 2
2	Check CAN Comfort for open circuit	Switch off ignition Pull off plug A on instrument cluster Pull off plug B on air-conditioning system control module Pull off plug C on PCM2/CDR23 Measure resistance between plug A on the instrument cluster pin 14 and plug B on the air-conditioning system control module pin 1 and plug C on the PCM2/CDR23 pin 1 Measure resistance between plug A on the instrument cluster pin 30 and plug B on the air-conditioning system control module pin 2 and plug C on the PCM2/CDR23 pin 2	< 5 Step 3	Repair wiring harness -> End
3	Check CAN Comfort for short circuit to ground	Measure resistance on instrument cluster plug A pin 14 and pin 30 and on pins 1/17.	Step 4	Repair wiring harness -> End
4	Replace PCM2/CDR23		-> End
