Removing and installing sealing ring for input shaft: Removal

Remove transmission (see INSTALLING AND REMOVING TRANSMISSION G96/00 AND G96/01 ).
Remove the release lever for clutch.
Remove guide tube for release bearing.
Screw special tool 9629 securely into the sealing ring.

Pull out sealing ring by screwing in the hexagon-head screw.

NOTE: The coil spring must be pulled off the input shaft with a wire hook if the spring should jump down when removing the sealing ring.
