SPECIAL TOOL DESIGNATION

No. Designation Special tool Explanation
A Insert for torque wrench 9625 Used to tighten the lock nut(s) at the front track bar(s) to the specified tightening torque. It can also be used for loosening.
The prescribed lock nut tightening torque of 50 N.m (37 ftlb.) corresponds to a setting on the torque wrench of approx. 35 N.m (26 ftlb.).
B Insert for torque wrench 9626 Used to tighten the lock nuts of the camber and toe eccentrics at the rear axle to the specified tightening torque. It can also be used for loosening.
Prescribed tightening torque of the lock nut(s) = 100 N.m (74 ftlb.). Contrary to previous specifications, this also corresponds to a setting on the torque wrench of 100 N.m (74 ftlb.).
C Torque wrench covering the range between 35 N.m (26 ftlb.) and 85 N.m (63 ftlb.)   Commercially available; use in combination with tools A and B.
Important: Observe the changed tightening torque when using the inserts A (special tool 9625).
