Establishing communication

Communication between the Porsche System Tester II 9588 and the air-conditioning system regulator is attained via the instrument cluster and the CAN comfort bus.

If both CAN comfort leads between the air-conditioning system regulator and instrument cluster are interrupted, short-circuited between each other, or interchanged, there is no communication possible between the Porsche System Tester II 9588 and the air-conditioning system regulator!
