Control unit function: Requirements

The following conditions must be satisfied in order to carry out one of the tester functions:
- Parking brake is engaged
- Vehicle speed 0 km /h (0 mph)
- Rear lid (engine compartment) closed
- Roll-over protection strap retracted
- Ignition on
- Communication established with the Porsche System Tester II 9588
