Removing And Installing Gasket For Spur-Gear Cover: Installing

- Ensure faultless seating of the dowel sleeve.
- Screw two centering pins (special tool 9321) into the transmission housing, put new gasket on and fit cover.
- Tighten screws in two steps.
1st step: Tighten screws 1, 2 and 3 by hand. Ensure that the gap between cover and transmission housing is equally reduced all round.
2nd step: Tighten screws 1...14 in the stated sequence to 23 Nm (17 ft.lb).
