Removing And Installing Sealing Ring For Input Shaft: Removal

Remove transmission, refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRANSMISSION, BOXSTER .
Remove release lever for clutch.
Remove guide tube for release bearing.
Screw puller 9629/1 securely into the sealing ring.

Screw in hexagon-head bolt (see Fig 2 ) and pull out the sealing ring.

NOTE:

The coil spring must be pulled off the input shaft using a wire hook if the spring jumps down when the sealing ring is removed.
