DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING - 800A CDR23

1	Read out CDR23 fault memory	Connect the Porsche System Tester II 9588 to the diagnostic socket; switch on the ignition and the Porsche System Tester II 9588 Select 986 as the vehicle type and start the automatic control module search In the Control units menu, select CDR23 Click the "> >" key in the Fault memory menu Read out fault memory Erase fault memory Remove ignition key and switch on ignition again Read out fault memory	-> End	Fault code is still displayed Step 2
2	Check CAN comfort (high) for open circuit	Switch off ignition Pull off plug E on CDR23 control module Pull off plug B on the air-conditioning system control module Pull off plug A on the instrument cluster control module Measure specific resistance between pin 1 of plug E on the PCM2 control module and pin 1 of plug B on the air-conditioning control module	< 0.5 Step 3	Repair open circuit in wiring harness -> End
3	Check CAN comfort (low) for open circuit	Measure specific resistance between pin 2 of plug E on the PCM2 control module and pin 2 of plug B on the air-conditioning control module	< 5 Step 4	Repair open circuit in wiring harness -> End
4	Replace PCM2		-> End
