DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING - 800A CD CHANGER

1	Read out CD changer fault memory	Connect and start the Porsche System Tester II 9588 and switch on the ignition Select Boxster (986) in the Vehicle type menu and confirm with the ">>" key Select PCM in the Control units menu and confirm with the ">>" key Select CD changer in the Boxster (986) PCM2 function selection and confirm with the ">>" key Select Fault memory in the Boxster (986) CD changer function selection and confirm with the ">>" key Read out fault memory Erase fault memory Remove ignition key and switch on ignition again Read out fault memory	-> End	Fault code is displayed Step 2
2	Replace PCM2/CDR23		-> End
