Installing covering for the front backrest frame

INSTALLING PROCEDURE FOR COVERING FOR FRONT BACKREST FRAME (1 OF 3)

No. Procedure Instructions
1 Positioning foam part Position foam part on the backrest frame.
2 Installing backrest covering Fit the backrest covering onto the backrest frame. Press the covering bead -7-8-  . See Fig 1 .
3 Fitting the backrest covering at rear Press the connection of the backrest covering into the backrest shell at the rear -9-  . See Fig 1 .
4 Folding over the side bolsters Screw in the connection -11-direction of arrow-  . See Fig 1 .

5a Closing side bolster closure, new status Engage the side bolster closure -10-  . See Fig 2 .
5b Closing side bolster closure, old status Join both side bolster closures -10-  . See Fig 2 .
6 Installing clothes hook Position the clothes hook -6-5-  . See Fig 2 .
7 Installing release lever Inset the collar -4-3-  . See Fig 2 .
8 Installing backrest cover Insert the side backrest cover -2-1-  . See Fig 2 .
  Installing the backrest centre strip See INSTALLING THE BACKREST CENTRE STRIP  .
CAUTION:
  • Danger of material damage if excessive heat is applied!
  • If creases form, only short partial warming with the hot-air gun is permissible. The hot-air temperature of approx. 50 degrees Celsius (122 Fahrenheit) must always be observed.

  Remedying creases in the backrest cover If creases form in the areas of the backrest cover, heat them partially with the hot-air gun.
