Installing belt tensioner

  1. Install belt tensioner. Observe the direction of travel -arrow 3- 
  2. Position the belt on the roll-over bar with the aid of the guide pin -D-. 
  3. Tighten fastening screw -C-,  tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.).
  4. Insert electrical plug -A-  in the belt tensioner.
  5. Insert lead -B-  into the lead mount.

  7. Push in fuse -1-  with a screwdriver in the -direction of travel-  until the fuse engages.
  8. By gently pulling on the belt -arrow 2-  , check the winding ability of the belt strap.

  10. Read out the fault memory with the Porsche System Tester.
