Removing Air Cleaner Element

  1. Open engine compartment. To do so, remove the top cover below the convertible top.
  2. Press both spring clips on the air cleaner housing outwards (in the engine compartment on the left vehicle side) and raise the air cleaner housing slightly.

  3. Pull out air cleaner element. To do so, first pull out the air cleaner drawer and then pull out the filter element after it.

  4. Remove drawer with the filter element from the air cleaner housing and remove the air cleaner element.
