Installing Air Cleaner Element

NOTE:

The air cleaner housing should not be cleaned with compressed air.
The hot film mass airflow meter can fire damaged if compressed air is used for cleaning.

Check air cleaner housing for soiling and if necessary wipe out the air cleaner housing with a lint-free cloth.
Insert the new filter element into the air cleaner drawer.

Position pushing unit with filter insert onto the air cleaner housing. Carefully insert the filter element first with both hands and then the push the drawer in after it.

Push the drawer firmly against the air cleaner housing. Both spring clips must lock with an audible click.
