Test 1 (Brake Disc Thickness)

- Always measure the brake disc thickness -X- for perforated brake discs on the most worn outer or inner friction surface trace -arrow- on 3 measuring points (each offset by 120°)- A/B/C-. See Fig 1 . For non-perforated brake discs, measure the thickness -X- in the middle of the disc, also on 3 measuring points (each offset by 120°). To do this, use a suitable micrometer screw or a brake disc gauge (drawing shows a GT2 brake disc).
