Retrieving Trouble Codes

Ensure ignition is off. Connect Porsche System Tester 2 to Data Link Connector (DLC), located under left side of instrument panel. Turn tester on. Turn ignition on. Select vehicle type. Follow tester instructions to INSTALLED SYSTEMS. Select AIR BAG. Select FAULT MEMORY. Second tester display is first possible fault. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IDENTIFICATION table.
