Battery Disconnect Precautions: Tiptronic

Stored pressure adaptation values are lost, if power supply to terminal No. 30 is interrupted. This can result in poor shifting quality, and/or rough shift operations, during adaptation phase.

After connecting battery, perform a test drive. During test drive, vary load conditions and speeds, so all shift functions are engaged at least once. This will re-adapt shifting pressures of system, and re-establishes smooth shifting.
