Removing fusible element from the current distributor

WARNING: Danger of injury and risk of damage!
  • The battery must be clamped off before starting the assembly work.
  1. Remove cover for current distributor and remove the service label.

  2. Carefully lever off the cover -A-  , for example, with a screwdriver -arrow-  . This will break the locking tabs and the cover can be removed.

  3. Remove the broken locking tabs from the current distributor.
  4. Unscrew the two hexagon nuts M 5 -3-  from the blown fusible element -1-  and remove with the washer -2-  .
