REAR POWER WINDOWS (CABRIOLET) COMPONENTS REMOVING PROCEDURE (STEPS 1-4)

No.	Procedure	Instructions
	Convertible top in service position	Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONVERTIBLE TOP .
	Information:	Removal and installation of the rear power window should be carried out with a rear window pane. Otherwise adjustment work is hindered during installation.
1	Removing side-panel lining	Removing side-panel lining -1- . See Fig 1 . Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING SIDE-PANEL LINING -- CABRIOLET, - AS OF MY 1997 .
2	Removing rear side window inner seal	Remove front and rear fastening screws -2-3- . See Fig 1 .
3	Closing side window	Press the micro-switch -4-5- . See Fig 1 .
4	Releasing power window	Release adjusting elements with the adjustment tool -7-6- . See Fig 1 .

CAUTION: Damage to or destruction of the convertible top when the convertible-top support is removed!

The convertible top must not be electrically operated when the convertible-top support is detached.
