NOTE:

After replacing the closing aid, a reset in the Targa roof control module must be carried out. Refer to GLASSES, WINDOW CONTROL DIAGNOSIS - 911 CARRERA (996) .

CLOSING AID COMPONENTS INSTALLING PROCEDURE (TARGA)

No.	Procedure	Instructions
1	Connecting and positioning plug connection	Push on plugs -3-4-arrow- . See Fig 1 .
2	Screwing support strut in place	Engage strut on the closing aid and screw tight with the hexagon nut -2- . See Fig 1 .
3	Fitting closing aid on roof module	Fold the closing aid holder upwards in the -direction of the arrows-inset-1- . See Fig 1 .
4	Installing rear wall lining	Position cover and push on the -direction of the arrow- . See Fig 1 .
