Installing roof module
ROOF MODULE COMPONENTS INSTALLING PROCEDURE - TARGA

| 1 | Guiding in and fastening the roof module | 1. Tilt the roof module at the front diagonally to the right and guide it into the vehicle -direction of arrow A- and turn horizontally -B- . See Fig 1. |
| 2. Move the roof module forwards to the windscreen -arrow C- . See Fig 1. | ||
| 3. Pull the protective film off the Nito tape. | ||
| 4. Roof module in the fastening screws, see: Insert -centring X- at rear. See Fig 1. | ||
| 5. Insert centring pin -Y- into the roof frame at the front. See Fig 1. | ||
| 6. Fasten the roof module with three fastening screws on each side. | ||
| 2 | Screwing in fastening nuts | Screw in fastening nuts -9- . See Fig 1. |
| 3 | Screwing in fastening screws | Tighten the fastening screws -8- . See Fig 1. |
| 4 | Connecting electrical plug connection | Connect the electrical plug connection -7-direction of arrow B-direction of arrow A- . See Fig 1. |
| 5 | Connecting the rear water drainage | Connect the rear water drainage -3, 4-5-6- . See Fig 1. |
| 6 | Connecting the front water drainage | Connect the front water drainage -2- . See Fig 1. |
| Functional inspection | Connect the Porsche System Tester to the diagnostic socket. Switch on ignition. | |
| Select the menu item Targa roof, select the menu item drive links, open/close function or actuate rear lid function. | ||
| Read out fault memory. If necessary, in case of a fault entry, proceed according to | ||
