1 Unclipping clothes hook bracket Lift up the clothes hook bracket -1-  . See Fig 1 .
2 Up to model year 1999; -2-3A  removing the sash guide cover -2-3A  . See Fig 1 . Carefully pull off the sash guide cover -2-5-6-4-3A-  . See Fig 1 .
3 As of model year 2000; Pressing out seat belt height adjuster release Press seat belt height adjuster release -8-5-  . See Fig 1 .
4 As of model year 2000; removing B-pillar trim -3B-  . See Fig 1 . Unscrew hexagon-head bolt -5-6-4-3B-  . See Fig 1 .
5 Unclipping the C-pillar trim Pull C-pillar trim -10-  . See Fig 1 .
6 Up to model year 1999; unclipping A-pillar trim -12A-  . See Fig 1 . Pull the A-pillar trim -12A-  . See Fig 1 .
7 As of model year 2000; unclipping A-pillar trim -12B-  . See Fig 1 . Pull the A-pillar trim -12B-  . See Fig 1 .

The A-pillar trim as of model year 2000 is characterized by a changed curvature and the notch for the deformation element.
