Removing cover and central vent for the dashboard

Removing cover and central vent
1. Insert a plastic spatula into the side of the cover -1- and press out. See Fig 1 .
2. Insert the second plate of the central vent into the metal clip -3- using a small screwdriver -2- . See Fig 1 .
  - Press and hold screwdriver upwards in the direction of arrow and simultaneously pull out the central vent -2- with the cover. See Fig 1 .

Removing frame
1. Unscrew fastening screws -3- from the mount -4-

Unclipping the cover from the central vent
Push in locking tab on the cover -1- using a screwdriver. Pull out central vent -2- .

Removing holder

Removing holder
Unscrew fastening screws -1- from the holder -A or B- .

Installing holder

Installing holder
Position the holder -1- on the dashboard and secure with the fastening screws -1- .

Installing cover and central vent for the dashboard

CAUTION: Danger of material damage to finished covers!

The control switches must be correctly mounted before the cover is fitted.
Particular care is required when clipping in finished covers.
The finished covers of the Exclusive / or Equipment range (carbon-fibre composite, light/dark wood) could be damaged as a result.

Clipping in the central vent
Connect the cover -1- with the central vent -2- . Ensure that the locking tab is engaged on the left and right side.

Installing frame
1. Position the frame -5- on the dashboard and secure with the fastening screws -3- .

Installing cover and central vent
1. Push the cover -1- with the central vent -2- into the dashboard, ensuring that the clips are engaged at the top and the locking tabs at the side.
